Organized, auditor-ready support schedules, reconciliations, and workpapers that give your external auditors what they need — reducing audit hours and minimizing back-and-forth.
Pre-Audit Process Reviews
A thorough review of your accounting processes and balances before the audit begins — catching issues early so they don't become audit findings or require restatement.

Direct coordination with your external audit team — managing the PBC list, responding to requests, and serving as the primary point of contact so your internal team can stay focused on operations.
Compliance Framework Support
Support for compliance requirements across your business — accounting policy alignment, disclosure checklists, and the documentation your investors, lenders, and regulators expect.
Gap Remediation
Targeted remediation of the gaps identified in your readiness assessment — fixing the accounting, building the documentation, and implementing the controls before the audit window opens.

Common Questions
Audit Readiness — FAQ
Do you perform audits?
No. SRG does not perform audits or provide attest services. This ensures full independence from your CPA firm. What we do is prepare your accounting and documentation so that when your auditors arrive, the work is done and the positions are defensible — which typically reduces audit hours and fees.
When should we start preparing for an audit?
Ideally, three to six months before your audit window opens. That gives SRG time to complete a readiness assessment, identify and remediate gaps, and build the documentation your auditors will need. Companies that wait until the last minute typically experience longer audits, more findings, and higher fees.
What is a PBC list?
PBC stands for "Prepared by Client" — it's the list of documents, schedules, and information your external auditors request at the start of the audit. SRG manages the PBC list on your behalf, ensuring every item is prepared accurately and delivered on time.
We've never been audited before. Where do we start?
Start with a readiness assessment. SRG will review your accounting function, documentation, and controls against what a first-time audit requires — and build a clear plan for getting you ready. First-time audits are often more intensive than subsequent ones, so early preparation is especially important.
