A Practical Finance Perspective on Transactions
The experience behind SRG includes buy-side diligence and post-acquisition integration in a private-equity-owned operating business; enterprise sell-side diligence, acquisition support, SEC reporting, and SOX work in a public-company environment; and contract CFO leadership while preparing a company for a potential equity transaction. That background informs SRG's practical support for financial readiness, diligence coordination, and integration. Scope is confirmed engagement by engagement.

Common Questions
Transaction Advisory — FAQ
What transaction situations can SRG support?
SRG's leadership background includes both buy-side and sell-side transaction environments. Current services are scoped to the specific need and may include financial diligence support, seller readiness and data-room preparation, transaction reporting, integration planning, or post-acquisition finance integration. SRG does not provide investment-banking, legal, valuation, audit, or attest services.
Does SRG provide transaction financial analysis?
SRG can provide scoped financial analysis and diligence support based on available records, defined procedures, and the needs of management and its advisors. The nature of the work, responsible parties, limitations, and intended use are established before the engagement begins. This work should not be described as an independent Quality of Earnings opinion or assurance conclusion unless a separately approved service methodology and engagement scope authorize that description.
What does post-close integration support look like?
Post-close integration support typically includes aligning accounting systems and chart of accounts, consolidating reporting, establishing the combined entity's close process, and building the reporting infrastructure the new ownership structure requires. The scope depends on the complexity of the transaction and the state of the acquired company's finance function.
How early in a transaction should we engage SRG?
As early as possible. For sellers, engaging SRG before going to market allows time to organize the financial records, prepare the data room, and build the financial story. For buyers, engaging during LOI allows time for thorough diligence before close. Waiting until the last minute increases deal risk and limits what we can do.
